The Purpose

Why Consider an Assessment?

Before we heal, we must understand. Think of an assessment as an "X-ray for the mind," distinguishing between overlapping symptoms to reveal the root cause.

Diagnostic Clarity

Accurately distinguish between anxiety, ADHD, trauma, or learning differences to stop the trial-and-error approach to medication and therapy.

Treatment Blueprint

Receive a comprehensive report that acts as a manual for your therapist, psychiatrist, or school, detailing specific accommodations.

Self-Discovery

Understand how your brain works. Identify your innate strengths and learning style to navigate work and relationships better.

The Journey

What to Expect

A clear, four-step path from confusion to clarity.

1

Intake Session

A 60-minute clinical interview to discuss history, current concerns, and determine which tests are needed.

2

Testing Day

In-person testing using iPads, puzzles, and questionnaires. Usually takes 2-4 hours depending on the battery.

3

Analysis

We score the data, analyze patterns, and write a comprehensive report integrating all findings.

4

Feedback

A session to review results, answer questions, and provide specific recommendations for home/school.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Generally, no. You can self-refer for an assessment. However, some insurance plans may require a referral from a primary care physician for reimbursement purposes. We recommend checking with your provider.

Our standard turnaround time is 2-3 weeks after the final testing session. We take this time to ensure every piece of data is scored accurately and integrated into a thoughtful, personalized report.

Many plans cover "medically necessary" testing (like for ADHD or Mood Disorders). Educational testing (for learning disabilities) is often not covered by medical insurance. We can provide a Superbill for out-of-network reimbursement.
